If you are needing to organise a large number of nodes into different views you can use the [Advanced Search] panel to build a query to filter your nodes down to your required selection.
The view you are on will filter down to the matching criteria.
If you start in the All nodes view you can filter on all your nodes.
Once you have the resultant set you wanted, select the [Add to View] button to select the view you want to add your nodes into.
